Memory, Attention, &

Cognitive Control Lab

at Sabancı University, Istanbul

What do we pay attention?

How are memories formed and retrieved?

Why do we forget some memories?

We study these questions, and more on the human mind and brain, using behavioral tasks, eye tracking, electroencephalogram (EEG), and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).

Dr. Günseli received International Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers Program grant by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK)!

Are you interested in studying memory and attention? Don't hesitate to get in touch to get involved!

Dr. Günseli will be recruiting multiple MA & PhD students in 2020. Also, feel free to contact if you want to volunteer in conducting research in our lab to gain more experience.

New paper accepted in Scientific Reports! See the pre-print where we show a dissociation between selective attention and storage in working memory.
